Quinoa is gluten-free, high in protein and one of the few plant foods that contain all nine essential amino acids! Simply cook over medium heat with twice as much water as quinoa. Once the quinoa has absorbed all the water, remove from the heat and cover to steam for about 5 minutes.
Goes great in a salad with your favourite veggies lightly grilled, in stuffed bell peppers, or in a cheesy plant-based casserole.
